Capago International is the sole official visa application centre for France in Baku. As such we operate a Visa Application Center in Baku where all travelers might apply for their Schengen Visa. Below you’ll find a brief description of the process involved in applying for your visa through us:

If you need a visa for France, you will:

1. Visit the official France-Visas website to find out about the latest regulation and if you need a visa to go to France;

2. Create an account on France-Visas, start filling-in your Schengen application form and prepare your application's supporting documentation*;

3. Book an appointment at our office in Baku to deposit your file.

A service fee of 30 Euros is mandatory for all Azeri visa applications.
A service fee of 32 Euros is mandatory for all Non-Azeri visa applications.
The service fee is set in euros but payable only in Azerbaijan Manat according to the current exchange rate.

Under section 17 of the Community code visas: "the state or states concerned shall maintain the opportunity for all applicants to lodge applications directly from their consulates, according to their conditions".

On the day of your appointment:

1. An agent will check your application and ensure all requested documentation is present;

2. Fees applicable to your application will be collected;

3. Your biometric data will be collected (photo and fingerprints);

4. Capago will process and submit your application to the French Consulate for assessment.

Please note that the French Consulate has sole authority when it comes to approving your visa application. An incomplete application may result in denial of your visa. Therefore, please ensure that you have all documents requested in your visa checklist. We recommend that you present your documents in the same order as per the checklist. This will save you time when submitting your application to one of our agents.

Delivery service:
Due to the ongoing Covid-19 outbreak and in accordance with Embassy instructions, all passports will be returned by courier services only.
Your passport will be delivered to your choice address between 10am and 6pm at 17 AZN per applicant (in Baku) or 33 AZN out of Baku.

Schengen Travel Insurance
A specific Travel Insurance, 100% compliant with the Schengen requirements is mandatory for your visa application under the European Union regulations (Decision 2004/17 / EC of December 22nd, 2003).

If the travel Insurance does not comply with Schengen Requirements according to the regulations of the European Union (Decision 2004/17/CE of December 22nd 2003), this may be grounds for a visa refusal.

Payment methods

The proof of payment must be inserted in your file on the day of your appointment.

No file will be proceeded to the Consulate without payment. You may pay as follows:

  • Debit or credit card on premises (No American Express or Diners)
  • Cash accepted on premises
